Oppo A58 Review: Full Specifications & Price in Bangladesh 2023

Review of the Oppo A58 smartphone – People love the Oppo A-series smartphones because they look great and are well-made. Recently, smartphone makers released the Oppo A58 in November 2022. For now, only Chinese phone users can get this phone. However, there isn’t any clear information about when it will be released everywhere. The company will probably rename this phone for other countries, though, as they always do.

I like how the Oppo A58 smartphone looks at first glance, even though it has a normal set of features and specs. But it’s important to note that Oppo’s phone had a 5G connection and one of the best-looking designs for an affordable smartphone. But those aren’t enough to tell us how much the phone is worth, so let’s go to the Oppo A58 review to learn more.

Oppo A58 Price in Bangladesh

We are excited to let you know that the Oppo A58 4G now comes in two different styles. The first model costs 20,990 taka and has 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. The second model has 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM as well, but it costs a little more at 23990 taka.

Oppo A58 Design and Build Quality

It was assumed that the cheap smartphone would have a glass front and a plastic body all around. But OPPO added their own style with a frosted finish on the back and a two-tone strip that went down from the camera sensor and up the side.

It says “INNOVATIVE AI CAMERA” in very small letters on the band. Nobody at OPPO missed a chance to make their brand look good. The front has a thick bottom chin and a show hole in the middle. Since this is a cheap phone, it’s clear that OPPO skimped on the display balance.

The device is 165.65 mm long, 75.98 mm wide, and 7.99 mm thick, and it weighs 192 gm. Since the phone is made of plastic, it’s pretty light and doesn’t add much weight when you’re using it with one hand.

When it comes to the phone’s hardware specs, it has two SIM slots and a microSDXC slot. It even comes with stereo speakers. The A58’s power button can also be used to read your fingerprint. From yesterday, there is a USB Type C port on the bottom set up for 2.0. The A58 still has the 3.5 mm headphone jack, which many people will find useful. People who use it will be able to choose between Glowing Black and Dazzling Green.

Oppo A58 Display

The Oppo A58 has a pretty normal and plain design layout, and the back is matte. But the camera island is interesting because it has two large punch holes on the back panel. The glossy finish gives the phone a great dual feel. On top of that, the company makes sure that users can pick this device in Black, Violet, or Blue Shade.

The Boxy build looks interesting because it feels good to hold. Also, the phone has a big body—it weighs about 188 grams and has an 8-mm-thick frame around the sides. Since you are getting a standard HD resolution 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen, you will notice that the power button has a fingerprint scanner on the side. For the most part, the phone looks good. It has thin edges and a water drop face notch.

Overall, the watching experience on this screen is good enough for most people, and the 90Hz refresh rate makes things smoother for easier navigation. Also, the 600-nits brightness of the screen means you can watch material even outside. After that, it’s good to see that the company gave this phone an IP54 grade.

Oppo A58 Performance and User Experience

The OPPO A58 has the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage, as we already said.  These numbers are pretty good for a cheap smartphone, and you can tell.

Other cheap smartphones often stutter when starting apps and when they’re not being used normally.  The A58 is not the same.  Forgive me if I say it’s not as fast as a top phone, but I can open a lot of apps at once without any major stuttering.

The task manager can be too strict at times, closing apps that you want to stay open. But overall, it was easy to use.  It’s a big change for me because I just got off the Pixel 8 Pro, which is the smoothest phone ever, but it was a lot like the A98 that I recently reviewed.  The OPPO A58 would have been fine if the Pixel 8 hadn’t spoiled me.

You will notice that apps open more slowly than on more expensive phones, but is that really that big of a deal when the price difference is only a few hundredths of a second?

Oppo A58 Memory and Internal

The hardware works well in normal situations because it has a working speed of up to 2.2GHz, which is good for doing many things at once. A 7nm MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 processor is also used by the company in the Oppo A58 smartphone. This is one of MediaTek’s cost-effective chipsets that lets you connect to 5G networks at a reasonable price. However, it doesn’t hurt efficiency.

The phone might not be better than the competition for gaming because it’s a normal mid-range phone and the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU only supports basic-level leisure gaming. The graphics for games like Call of Duty and Apex Legend would only be able to be low-resolution. Besides this, the phone tested Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 layout.

There are a lot of different features and functions that can be added to the interface so that people can change it however they want. There are, however, some apps that are too big and slow. Besides this, the Oppo A58 smartphone has an internal storage of 128GB to 256GB UFS 2.2 and works with 6GB to 8GB RAM. After that, a MicroSD card spot was added to the SIM tray.

Oppo A58 Camera

The main camera is 50MP and has an aperture of f/1.8 and a field of view of 75.5°. A 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 works with the main camera. The depth sensor is mostly there to help sell the A58 as a phone with two cameras. The main sensor is where almost all of the camera’s performance lies.

The camera does pretty well on the test. The stock camera app didn’t have any features that directly dealt with AI. Photos taken in direct sunlight have a cooler tone that makes them look realistic. The cooler tone makes the blues and greens stand out more than the reds. Another good thing about the main camera is that it keeps a good balance between shade and exposure. Some changes make the portrait view better. Every time, the edge recognition was right on the mark.

The A58 also has a standard 8 MP front camera.

The A58 can record videos at 1080P at 30 frames per second. The camera can record in up to 4K, but because of the processor’s limited power, cheap smartphones can only record in 1080P.

Oppo A58 Battery and Others

Under the hood of the Oppo A58 smartphone is a strong Li-Po 5000 mAh battery that gives you a huge amount of screen time. Users can expect to be able to use the screen continuously for more than 6 hours thanks to effective energy optimization. This means you won’t have to worry about running out of power while streaming material from different platforms or doing your daily tasks. The phone also allows 33W fast charging, which means the battery can be fully charged in just over an hour and a half.

Oppo also puts a lot of effort into giving users the newest connection and sensor features. The phone has great sound quality thanks to its stereo speakers, which give clear and loud sound. It also has a 3.5 mm jack port that makes it easy to connect to your favorite music devices.

Should You Buy The Oppo A58?

The OPPO A58 is absolutely a basic smartphone. There isn’t any other way to say it. What types of features should a basic smartphone have? One that’s good enough for basic tasks like reading the web, checking email, and playing simple games, and whose camera takes decent pictures.

That is exactly what the OPPO A58 does. Like almost all entry-level smartphones, the photos taken at night aren’t very good, but the pictures taken during the day are fine. Viewing websites and using most apps at the same time are fine.

Overall, OPPO has made a beautiful phone. If you’re looking for a cheap smartphone, I suggest you check this one out.

The OPPO A58 will be available from October 5th in Dazzling Green and Glowing Black for $299 from JB-Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, The Good Guys, Big W, Optus, OPPO’s Online Store, and more.

Conclusion

The Oppo A58 is a huge improvement over last year’s Oppo A57, and one of the main reasons for this is the general design layout. But after looking at every part of this phone, it has a good screen, a powerful engine, a battery that lasts a long time, and the ability to charge quickly. One of the biggest problems is the camera and screen sharpness, though.

Still, the fact that this phone is 5G gives it an edge, even though the company skimped on some other parts. If the phone doesn’t have 5G, the other features aren’t great, and they might not be worth much in the end. What about the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, though? If you want the best value for your money, we recommend it because it works so well.
