ViVO V29e 5G Design

The Vivo V29e is a lovely phone. It looks high-end, feels good and light in your hands, and is thin. The front and back are bent, and the back is colored in two different ways. There is a shiny pattern running down the left side of the back panel. The phone is also very thin and light, which makes it very handy and simple to hold and use with one hand.

There is no camera gadget this time. Instead, the cameras on the back stick out from the back panel. The LED flash is put to the right of the camera cutouts. There is also Vivo’s logo on the camera features on the glossy striped stripe on the back of the phone. At the beginning, everything is OK. There is a hole-punch curvy screen in the middle which is a cutout for the camera.

Overall, it’s a slightly different take on a style that we’ve come to know and love in the Vivo V-series phones over the last couple of years. The back and front are curved, as expected, and the phone is very thin and light. The back panel and camera placement are a little different, though.

ViVO V29e 5G Display

The vivo V29e has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that is almost perfectly balanced. This time, the big screen has a new and exciting feature. With a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1150 nits, it can be read clearly even in full sunlight.

The 2400 × 1080 image claims a 394 ppi density. Even when the screen is turned down, the E4 light emitter keeps the blacks deep and the brightness high. A 100% DCI-P3 color range and a 107% NTSC color saturation will be given to users.

The screen has a cooler tone right out of the box. But the settings make it easy to adjust. The screen-to-body ratio of 88.3% makes for a lot of screen space, but it doesn’t do very well for the price.

ViVO V29e 5G Performance

The Vivo V29e 5G is powered by the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, which makes it run very quickly. It has 8GB of RAM, which means the Vivo V29e 5G can easily handle heavy games, complicated multitasking, and apps with lots of graphics.

The Snapdragon 865 chipset also lets the Vivo V29e 5G link to 5G networks. If your phone has 5G, you can download movies in seconds and watch HD video with almost no buffering. When the delay goes down, online games respond faster. The Vivo V29e 5G is ready to use 5G networks to their fullest as they keep getting better and bigger.

Benchmarks show that the Vivo V29e 5G has one of the fastest speeds of any Android phone. The layout stays smooth and quick even when a lot of apps are open. When the graphics settings are turned all the way up, high-end 3D games like Call of Duty and Asphalt 9: Legends run easily.

This phone has 128GB of storage, which is a lot of space for apps, movies, photos, and other things. If that’s not enough space, you can add a microSD card through the hybrid SIM slot and carry up to 512GB of extra space.

ViVO V29e 5G Camera

The smartphone vivo V29e has two cameras on the front. The main camera is 64 MP f/1.79, and the ultra-wide-angle camera is 8 MP f/2.2. The front has a 50 MP autofocus selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.45 for both photos and video calls. It takes amazing selfies. A good thing about the main camera is that it has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).

You can use the camera app’s a lot of different modes and features, such as Night, Live Photo, Double Exposure, High Resolution, Pano, Live Photo, Slo-mo, Time-lapse, Pro, Documents, Dual View, Supermoon, Style, Filter, Light effect, and more.

When it comes to the cameras, the vivo V29e takes some stunning pictures and photos, and the quality of the pictures is surprisingly good overall. Check out the camera examples we got from the vivo V29e. We tried to take some pictures to see how well the cameras worked, and it turned out.

The 50 MP front-facing camera and the wide-angle camera both do a good job, and we’re happy with the results. The pictures are clear and bright during the day, and they also turn out pretty well when there isn’t much light. The only thing that worries us is that it can’t record 4K video; it can only do 1080p at 60 frames per second, which is still pretty good.

ViVO V29e 5G Processor

In terms of its hardware, the Vivo V29e is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 CPU and has 8GB of RAM. There are two storage options for the device: 128GB and 256GB. Both are more than enough to meet the needs of the Android system.

The Snapdragon 695 works well for everyday tasks. It lets you switch between apps and do more than one thing at once. Some games even run smoothly. There were some stuttering animations, especially when setting up the phone for the first time, but once everything was set up, the phone was usually fast and responsive.

However, this might not be the best choice for serious gamers. To get games like Call of Duty and Battlegrounds Mobile India to run smoothly, the image settings had to be lowered. But if you mostly use your phone for things like scrolling through Instagram, sending messages on WhatsApp, browsing the web, and other related things, it works great.

When it comes to the speakers, they are clear and loud, but they don’t have any bass. Notably, there is only one speaker, so you can’t get a stereo sound. The FunTouch OS 13 built into the Vivo V29e is what runs the phone’s software.

ViVO V29e 5G Battery

Even though the Vivo V29e might not work as well as it should, the battery life is great. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 44W. The 5,000mAh battery in the Vivo V29e gives the phone more than enough power to last more than 1.5 days, even with heavy use.

I put the battery through a lot of tests. Even after 15 minutes of playing Call of Duty Mobile on the hardest levels, the phone’s battery only lost 4% of its power. The Vivo V29e dropped only 6% of its power while using GPS for an hour, which is great.

The smartphone worked great for 1220 minutes, which is more than 20 hours, in our video loop test. That battery life is great. On the other hand, the 44W fast charger feels a little slow because it took an hour to charge from 0% to 100%.

ViVO V29e 5G Pros and Cons

  • A great FHD+ AMOLED screen
  • A frame rate of 120 Hz
  • Better camera performance with 50 MP
  • 44W wired fast charging
  • Enough computer power

  • Not having Gorilla glass to protect it
  • Not enough space for 4K recording
  • No charge without wires

ViVO V29e 5G Verdict

There are some good improvements in the vivo V29e 5G over the V27e. It has a better camera setup, a better screen, and a faster engine. When all of these parts are put together, the gadget feels almost perfect.

The bad thing is that its OS can be too much for people who only want to use Android. People who have used a Vivo phone before may feel right at home. But people who use stock Android or other apps might need some time to get used to it.

Another disappointing thing is that it doesn’t take 4K video and can’t be charged wirelessly or backward. Other phones in this price range, like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro, have better deals.

Who is the V29e for then? Well, it’s for regular people who need a good daily driver who can also take great pictures. It’s not meant to be used for gaming, but the vivo V29e 5G can handle some light gaming now and then.
